      Relaxation supreme in Mexico.
If you want to stay in Mexico where you will not be bothered by vendors on the beach this is your place. We were there in February, the temps. were perfect and so was the weather. We stayed with Betsy and Greg and had a special birthday celebration that Betsy helped with all of my special accommodations. She was great, she reserved a special dinner place for us and ordered my cake as well. All of my requests were full filled way in advance and Betsy made sure it all went smoothly. The beaches are marvelous and we used the kayaks at the B&B with the help of Greg. We kayaked out around the island. Betsy also arranged a special boat day for me where we went to a special beach, had lunch and then went snorkeling later, she took care of all of the prearrangements for me.The rooms are all beautifully decorated in authentic Mexican wares and I have never seen so many beautiful surroundings in all the many stays I have had in Mexico. The breakfast Betsy will make you every morning will surpass anything you might think possible. What a beautiful place, we can’t wait to go back.

      Relax. REVIVE! Comfort. Excellant Hospitality!!!
My getaway vacation to Casa Encantada was superb! While sitting at my ocean view desk watching the beach life, feeling the cool breeze flow through the screen doors on my balcony patio and having reached complete relaxation, I knew I must jot down my experience at this quaint B&B. Betsy and Greg have made this experience feel like coming home. My first day here, Betsy, scheduled me an appointment with Emilia, the recommended masseuse. She set her table up right in my ROOM! I had the sounds of the ocean along with Emilia’s relaxing jams to accompany my massage. The rest of my stay was one day after the next of reviving my over worked spirit. Laying by the pool, watching the sunset from their upstairs cantina and walking the beach located right outside their gate was such a treat!!! Betsy had breakfast for me every morning, today I dined on her DELICIOUS huevous rancheros accompanied with a side of fruit and coffee. Among the beautifully set up rooms the accommodations are pretty sweet too! Upstairs just feet away from the Cantina (which has a pool table, a bar with drinks for purchase and a view to die for) they have provided an outdoor kitchen where after a quick trip to the market I can make my own food and dine in for the night. Casa Encantada was just a nice stroll down the beach from the bustling life of Guayabitos. But if I needed a quick trip to town, Greg was there to lend me a bike for the day. They also offer Kayaks for those adventurers! I will definitely be coming back here to stay. The couple that runs this place were so friendly and welcoming that it felt more like family than a cookie cutter business. Thanks again you too!!! P.s the pups Louis and Abbey are dolls!

      A true treasure!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Casa Encantada with a few of my friends for a girl’s weekend trip. It was an incredible experience and I would not hesitate to go back. The owners, Betsy and Greg, are very welcoming and personable. They recommended some amazing places to eat and shop that we would have never stumbled upon on our own. Betsy was even kind enough to loan us kayaks and paddle out to a beautiful, secluded island with us and give us a tour. I cannot say enough kind words about this couple, they are amazing! It was very relaxing to sit poolside and soak up the sun or even take the path down to the beach and catch some rays near the ocean. The sunsets here are unbelievable and we had cocktails on the spacious patio and watched the sun go down every evening. The local town is about a 10 minute walk on the beach from the Casa Encantada> The town itself is very quaint and the locals are all very friendly. There is lots of great and AFFORDABLE shopping in town and the neighborhood restaurants have some of the best food that I’ve ever tasted. There is a lively nightclub scene, my friends and I went out for cocktails one evening and ended up having a great time dancing with the locals. I highly recommend the Casa Encantada to anyone who is looking for an amazing trip. You cannot go wrong with Betsy and Greg, they will make sure that your vacation will be one to remember!

      Exceeded our expectations!
Casa Encantada was recommended to me by my friend Robin who lives in Los Ayala. She said it was just being built and looked wonderful! So, I started my email correspondence with Betsy in April of 2013 and watched facebook as she posted the photo’s of their progress. I made a reservation for myself and two girlfriends and we anxiously awaited our Jan. 2014 dates to fly out and spend 10 days at the Casa Encantada. We were not only overwhelmed with how beautiful it was but because we were “the first to book and pay” we got an upgrade to Suite #1. We could not have been happier with our accommodations. The beautiful tile work that Greg had done and the amazing tile work throughout the entire Casa. Betsy had coffee ready for the “early risers” and great breakfast put out in the open air kitchen area where we could fill out plates and then go sit in the cantina and enjoy the ocean, palm trees and colorful bouganvilla. The cantina fast became our favorite place to eat, play cards, sit and visit or read. We always felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed the companionship of the dogs. We could walk out the gate, and be right on the beach, and many times walked to our favorite restaurant to eat. But most of all, we enjoyed meeting Betsy and Greg and hearing about their “new life” and adventure of pulling up roots in Wa. state and moving to Rincon Guayabitos to build their dream home. Here’s to you Betsy…..for following your dreams and to Greg for helping you fulfill them. It can only get better!!! And… we are booked for another 10 days same time next winter, this time booking the entire B&B with 10 of us!

      February 2017
Stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast for a week in February. We had a huge oceanfront suite, with a large balcony, king size bed, lovely bathroom, lots of closet space, and another room with two twin beds. The owner had tastefully decorated the whole home with Mexican accessories. There was a great pool area looking out to the water, a large cantina common area with pool table, honesty bar, etc, and a large open air kitchen with all the utensils to make your own meals. The breakfasts provided were delicious and plentiful. The owners were so helpful and kind! Everything you could think of for the beach was provided – beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc. The accommodation is situated on a quiet part of the beach, but is just a short taxi ride, or beach walk away from restaurants, etc. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and hope to return one day.
