The Plaza in Rincón de Guayabitos Gets a Beautiful Makeover

On Thurdsay, June 6, the plaza in Rincón de Guayabitos was a buzz with activity. The crew from Vivero Villanueva in La Colonia planted hundreds of heliconia, ginger, bougainvillea, hibiscus, palm trees, agave and other tropical plants throughout the plaza grounds. According to Rossanna Araujo Silver, Hotel Association president, the plaza project is being funded by the Asociación Hostelería Compostela and includes the plants, an underground sprinkler system and new tejas for the gazebo. The project should be completed this week.

We are so pleased to see the plaza beautification project. We have loved Guayabitos for more than 20 years and look so forward to being there and seeing the new plants in January 2014!
