JBAR’s next free spay and neuter clinic will take place November 14-17 at the home of Sue & Del Moss on Avenida del Sol Nuevo in the Zona Residencial in Rincón de Guayabitos (located just before the Bridge of Life).

We will need volunteers!! Volunteers please plan to be at the clinic site on the first day (Wednesday, November 14) for on-site training. Training will begin promptly at 8:30am.

To keep our volunteers and medical teams energized, donations of snacks, refreshments, fruit, lunches and dinners will be appreciated! $$$ are always appreciated as well.

We are in need of kennels, newspaper, old sheets and towels, Frontline flea and tick medication, dog and cat food, collars and leashes, sterile gloves and sutures.

There will be a free spay and neuter clinic the following week in Las Varas (November 21-24). Medical teams from Canada and Mexico will be working both clinics. Your support is greatly appreciated.

    Hello Everyone,
I want to let you all know that I will be arriving with a team of veterinarians and vet technicians in November to assist at the spay and neuter clinic. This will be our sixth time helping out at the clinic and we are really looking forward to being there. I have one team coming to help out at the clinic in Guayabitos Nov14-17 and a second team helping out at the Las Varas clinic Nov 21-24. My clinic in Victoria BC has fundraised during the summer to help pay for the clinic in Guayabitos and Dr Carla Bell’s veterinary clinic in Sooke BC has raised money to help pay for their second sponsored clinic in Las Varas. Dr Bell cannot join us as she recently had her first child, but she sends her best wishes to all the volunteers.
There will also be a 2 man film crew coming down from Victoria for these clinics. They hope to get enough footage to make a short documentary about the work done by JBAR, PEACE and our Mexi-Can Vet Project in Mexico. This should be an interesting time. See you all very soon and thanks for your support volunteering at the clinics.
