Not to be outdone by previous years, this year’s promoters chose the site directly across from the police station in Rincón de Guayabitos as their location for Motofiesta 2014. It proved to be an excellent venue for the thousands of bikers and fans that arrived from all across Mexico and beyond.
The site had multiple entrances before the promoters began, but with the addition of a strategically planned steel bridge, the thousands that arrived were easily accommodated and the party went on without a hitch.
The first bikers to arrive on Thursday afternoon we greeted by many vendors with their tents filled with motorcycle gear and souvenirs.
Friday night’s 1-inch (23 mm) of rain failed to dampen their spirits, as thousands returned to the party on Saturday.
As of this writing, the total number of bikes and riders is unknown, but reports are that every hotel room in Guayabitos was booked for the 4-day event. For further information on Motofiesta Guayabitos 2014, click here
