When George and Donna Steensma invite you to tag along on their annual clothing giveaway, you jump at the opportunity. Shortly after we arrived in Lima de Abajo, we began unpacking nearly a dozen large suitcases filled to the brim with donated clothing and attempted to neatly organize the items on tables to give away to the people there. This is the Steensma’s annual tradition and it is a true testament of what Christmas is all about!
Thanks to Ken & Bea Rauch for documenting and sharing these wonderful photos of the event as well as Santa’s visit to Lima de Abajo, both of which took place on Monday of this week. Bea put it best when she wrote, “These are memory photos of today’s expressions from the heart. This is the season to make memories. Thanks for including us.”
Wishing you all a blessed Christmas!
The work ended and the fun began when Santa arrived via quad…
