I love being in La Peñita again. Last year, after my first stay of six weeks, I was convinced that I would be back again. This year, my sister Carroyl and I stayed for four months. It was a wonderful experience attending the Día de la Revolución (Mexican Revolution Day) parade on Wednesday, November 20th.
The beautiful children performed so well, and we want to express our thanks to the schools, teachers, parents and community. We could see the evidence of love by so many. Their dresses, costumes and performances all reflected the great effort the event took. We find the Mexicans very friendly, family oriented and we truly love being here.
